Interest Groups
Thursday Drop-In
Each Thursday starting January 11, 2024 from 10:00am-Noon at Village Artisans/Garden Gallery. Bring your own project of any type to work on as this is not a scheduled specific class. Or just come in for a cu of coffee and conversation. No fee.
Friendship Quilters
The Friendship Quilters meet every Tuesday at 9am, at St. Johns's Hall in Garden. Bring a project and sack lunch, and join the fun. $3.00 Fee. It will be cancelled if Big Bay de Noc School is cancelled for the day or cancelled if a funeral is scheduled for a Tuesday.
Book Club
This group meets once a month except for June, July and August. The meeting place changes each month. Contact Janet Daasch at 644-2175 if you are interested in joining.
Garden Gourmet Group
This is a very popular group. Share your recipes, and learn new ones. Past events included cooking wild game, and using local produce in recipes. Click below to check out pictures from past events. The group generally meets at 5 P.M. on the 4th Thursday of the month at the St. John's Hall in Garden. Contact Ruth Craig 906-644-3534 for information.
Brown Bag Programs
This lunch time get-together offers a variety of presenters and topics. Everyone is welcome. We have not held a brown bag for many years but it used to be a favorite event.
