Village Artisans Annual Salad Luncheon and Tour-July 18



In downtown Garden, located on the beautiful Garden Peninsula, on Saturday July 18 the Village Artisans will be holding their Annual Salad Luncheon at St. John's Hall (air conditioned) at 11am-2pm. The Annual Tour is from 11am to 3pm. Featured on the tour this year at the community center there will be demonstrations and displays of hand wood carving, there is a trip South of Garden to see LaTulip Pottery, and in the back room of the Gallery there will be an explanation of the art of Barn Quilt Squares with a tour of squares in the Village of Garden. Buy your tickets and obtain a tour brochure at the Garden Gallery. See you there!!

Gardening on the Peninsula

 On May 13, 2015 Ginny Smith, Ruth Craig and Janet Daasch visited with Mary Kennedy to learn about Mary's gardening techniques. It was a cool Spring morning!

Icosahedron Workshop

 Tony Leny and Sara Bagley explain the art of Icosahedron....making an 20 sided figure. Everyone went home with a completed project and ideas to make more on their own time.

Plant Sale



  

Mary Kennedy,Lael Thelander and Ginny Smith were bundled up to keep warm for the Village Artisan's annual Plant Sale. This year it was held in conjunction with the weekly Farmers Market.

"Oh Christmas Tree"

Buy your tickets at the Garden Gallery. They make a great gift and easy to put in a card. Who wouldn't want this 55"x69" quilt to display during the holidays? Drawing will be held October 12, 2015 and the proceeds go for art programs for local children and adults.
