We the Village Artisans, believing in the power of art to ennoble and enrich the lives of all people, determine to encourage and support the arts in whatever way we can in the community of Garden, MI, and in the region of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Quilt Raffle Fundraiser
Each May when the Garden Gallery opens, The Village Artisans display a quilt that is awarded the following October to the winning raffle ticket holder. Raffle tickets are available for purchase from May through October by visintg or calling the Garden Gallery.
In October 2023, Peggy Ellenberger of Allison, MI, won this year’s selected quilt - Beauty All Around. Congratulations, Peggy!
The quilt was designed by Joyce Weeks with wool appliqué completed by Janet Daasch and quilted by Lael Thelander. The winning ticket was drawn by our honorary board member, Pat Rasmussen and the winner was called by Lael Thelander, Gallery Manager assisted by the newly elected President of the Village Artisans, Linda Ranguette.
