Food at the Silent Auction
Ruth Craig, President of the Village Artisans, Inc., took charge of organizing the goodies for the silent auction. She did a fantastic job as you can see by the display of food on the table. Marlene Winter-Johnson, secretary of the Village Artisans, came early to help her set up.

Silent Auction Committee
Lorelei McRoberts, chairperson for the fundraising committee is seated in the center with committee member Janet Daasch. Beth Cox who is standing is also a committee member. She was instrumental in teaching the committee how to set up a silent art auction since this was the first silent auction that the Village Artisans ever had. Donna Thurston, not pictured, is also on the committee as well as Marlene Winter-Johnson.

Silent Auction Crew
Ruth Craig, in center, was in charge of the food for the evening. Clarence Yaeger was a volunteer for the evening, recruited by his wife, Pat Yaeger, member of the Village Artisans Board of Directors. Pat Rasmussen, another Board member, also volunteered her time to work at the silent auction.

Waiting to Register Bidders
Lorelei McRoberts and Pat Yaeger are seated at the table ready to give bidders their number to place their bid. Participants were given a number which they placed on the card by the item that they wanted to bid on.

Dick Seibert and his Wife
Donna Thurston, on the right, is speaking to Dick Seibert and his wife. Dick donated bottles of wine for the event and brought the bottle opener to also open other wine donated by Threefold Vine Winery. Donna is another member of the fundraising committee.

Emcee
Donald Grothe was our emcee for the evening. He rang the bell calling out the time left for people to bid. He is standing next to Lorelei McRoberts.

Sally LaPorte
Sally LaPorte is registering for a number so she can bid on the over 50 items in the silent auction. Lorelei is registering her and giving her a number.

Wild Cherry Wine Band
Steve Schmeck, Sharon Vierk, Larry Daasch, and Susan Robishaw provided live music during the silent auction. The live music was appreciated by the crowd that came to participate in the silent auction.
